Group Therapy
Our new group therapy program offers a range of opportunities for support, psycho-education and to gain new skills to facilitate healthier living.
Current groups include:
- Healthy Coping: including topics such as Relaxation, Setting Boundaries, Time Management, and Coming out (LGBTIQQ)
- Creating Balance: a harm reduction group to help manage compulsive behaviors (such as use of drugs and alcohol) and reduce their harmful impact.
- Seeking Safety: focused on healing from the effects of trauma.
Upcoming groups include:
- Lesbian, Bisexual, Queer & Questioning Women’s Relationship Group (all those women-identified welcome including trans identified women)
- Trans Identities Group
- Adult Drop-In Support Group
- Living with HIV/AIDS
In order to participate we require a brief mental health screening to determine eligibility.
